After our WA Day Festival celebrations were unable to go ahead in June, we’re excited to be returning to Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour on Sunday 11 October 2026 for a huge FREE community celebration.
Get ready for a day by the water packed with live music and entertainment, cultural performances, mermaids and roaming characters, family activities, interactive experiences and plenty more across Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and Bathers Beach.
Celebrate Fremantle’s rich multicultural character with performances and experiences spanning Aboriginal culture, Italian heritage, Brazilian rhythms, Cuban music, Filipino dance and more – before a spectacular Sunset of Fire finale closes out the Festival.
Bring the family, bring your friends and come celebrate the people, cultures and stories that make Fremantle and Western Australia so special.
