FREE THE NET: National Capital FreeNet (NCF) first launched our dial-up services and online community portal on Feb. 1, 1993.
In the 33 years since, the technology has changed (and changed, and keeps changing.) But NCF's mission has stayed the same: we believe everyone has a right to affordable, reliable and secure internet services that they can understand how to use, while feeling safe online.
Join us in celebrating 33 years of NCF offering local community-based internet services, check out our new branded swag, and donate to ensure NCF is around for another 33 years!

Cost: $20 donation towards NCF's digital equity activities including CommuniFi, our new free-to-use Community WiFi network.
Time: DOORS OPEN 1:30PM
SHOW STARTS at 2PM with a brief presentation on NCF's past, present and future, followed by the movie.

Movie: 1995 cult teen tech classic film Hackers. Directed by Iain Softley, screenplay by Rafael Moreu. Starring Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary), Angelina Jolie (Girl, Interrupted), Jesse Bradford (Bring It On), Matthew Lillard (Scream), Laurence Mason (Pr*son Break), Renoly Santiago (Con Air), Lorraine Braco (The Sopranos), and Fisher Stevens (Short Circuit).

The Mayfair Theatre is a heritage building that opened its doors in 1932. As such, the theatre’s wheelchair accessibility is limited.
The theatre’s auditorium is accessible through the back entrance, near the screen. If you require this entrance, the theatre requests that you call ahead to advise staff members that you will need assistance, and try to arrive around 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the movie. This will enable staff to better assist you and ensure you are seated.
Unfortunately the washrooms, candy bar and main lobby are not wheelchair accessible.
