Join Pet Zone Tropical Fish at Walter Andersen Nursery in Point Loma for a FREE live Pond Tank Aquascape demonstration!
Pet Zone SD aquascaper Pascal Reyes will build a desktop pond tank from start to finish while walking through the techniques, plant selection, hardscape, and design principles that go into creating one of these unique aquascapes.
Pond Tank Aquascapes recreate the peaceful look of a natural pond on a much smaller scale, combining submerged and emergent plants with natural hardscape. As the plants mature and the ecosystem becomes established, these setups can require surprisingly little maintenance — and can even be maintained without a traditional aquarium filter.
Throughout the demo, Pascal will share tips and answer questions about creating and maintaining your own pond-style aquascape at home.
Whether you're completely new to planted aquariums or already an experienced aquascaper looking for something different, come hang out with us, learn something new, and see a pond tank come together live!
