About this Event
Loree Ovens is a Toronto-based, mixed-media artist with a background in textiles and printmaking. Washi is her favourite medium and it has been part of her practice for nearly 25 years. Loree has participated in many The JPP exhibitions and events, and has taught many brilliant workshops. We are delighted to welcome Loree to share her artistic journey, ongoing work and experimentation.
Loree says:
Creating art began as a hobby while I was quite young, something to keep me busy. I had no idea that the process of focusing on my art was a way to help me think. It also helped me get to know myself. I was unaware of the profound impact that practicing art could have.
Join us, as we share in Loree's voyage of artistic discovery and washi mastery.
