Foraging Plant Walk and Medicine Making with Quw'utsun' Elder and Ethnobotanist, Huyamisée, Della Rice Sylvester.
Join us to go on a walk through the garden, forest and local areas to forage and learn about local native plants and their healing properties. Harvest along the way and when we return, we will make some healing salve together that you can bring home.
Della Rice-Sylvester, Hyamicye, is a healer, cultural keeper, singer, ethnobotonist, & workshop trainer of the Quw'utsun peoples of Vancouver Island.
Cost: $100, includes materials
This workshop will have a maximum of 20 students.
