"It's a weekend of unlimited train rides, goodie bags for those on the scavenger hunt, and a great educational experience awaits those attending the celebrations. The Station concession will be open, offering snacks and beverages for those wanting a bite to eat.” An admission rate of $8 for children 3 - 12 years (2 and under are FREE) and $14 for adults, seniors/youth at $12 makes it an affordable, fun day for all. Please note: tickets are only available for purchase at the door.This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, Sunday, and Easter Monday from 10 am to 4 pm with goodie bags being provided for children who complete the scavenger hunt. Thanks to sponsor Save On Foods for supplying the goodie bags of Easter Treats! And special thanks to all our volunteers who help make these family-friendly events happen.
The Easter Eggspress is a fun way to kick off the new season. The Easter Scavenger Hunt is just the beginning of a season full of special events. Other events planned for the 2025 season include Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Canada's Birthday, an expanded 2 day Truck Show, Kid’s Day, Labour Day, and, of course, our popular Halloween Train and Christmas Express. Plus, you can guarantee the fun and knowledgeable staff at the BC Forest Discovery Centre will probably add a few surprise days and exhibits throughout the year!
