Guests can also enjoy a free hands-on craft, themed scavenger hunt, and 15% off one item in the Museum Store after completing the hunt.
May 14 Theme: Flowers, Favors & Friendship
Victorian May Day traditions celebrated kindness, community, and surprise acts of friendship. Neighbors created small “Tussie Mussie” paper cone baskets, filled them with flowers or sweets, and secretly left them on a friend’s doorknob. During this After Hours event, guests will create their own May Basket to share and take part in this charming 19th-century tradition.
