Dance Performance

Dance is one of the most primal forms of expression. Even before they can walk, babies often respond to sound with joyful little dance moves. Engaging in dance lights up multiple areas of the brain, especially those related to movement, emotion, and social interaction.

Flow Through Movement session will connect the body with sound, textures, and creativity. Together, we’ll explore mindful movement and allow the mind to play, awakening a sense of presence and flow.

Led by Filipa Peraltinha, a choreographer, performer and dance teacher with an extensive national and international career. Filipa's work reflects a meeting between formal training and the strong influence of urban dances in her relationship with music and the body, as well as her fascination with the visual arts.
