Flow & Recreate: ALL DAYER ROUND 2
Timeline:
6:45am- arrive & park at the large parking lot after the dog park and before the old swimming pool. There will be a sign out and we will be set up so you can’t miss it!
7am- slow stretch focused yoga flow. If you plan on bringing your own mat just be aware there is a solid chance you’ll get mud on it! We will have limited mats and blocks available.
8am- fuel up break, then hit the trail!
1st- out to rock springs!
2nd- towards Kiwanis park past the water treatment plants until we hit Sunset Rd
3rd- Greendell park
4th James Milikin homestead // loop around Fairview
Details on the day:
this is not a race, we will be going at our own pace taking breaks for food & to rest in between each direction switch at our cars and through out as needed. There are bathrooms right across from the parking lot and at all the parks we walk to, excluding Greendell.
Please bring:
-Yoga mat (if you have one, we have a limited amount)
-lots of water
-breakfast, lunch, & snacks that will be ok sitting in your car or pack a cooler!
-bug spray
-sun screen
What to wear:
Tennis shoes, I do not recommend hiking boots the trail is fully paved. I also do not recommend sandals of any kind. We’re getting lots of miles in!
It will be warm, I recommend shorts that are long enough to prevent thigh chafing (if ya know, you know) and a tank!
If you’re concerned about burning or ticks protect yourself with long socks, a hat, pants and a long sleeve.
