COMMUNITY ROWATHON FUNDRAISER
Join us as we come together to honor the memory of retired Decatur Police Sergeant Timothy Wittmer and support the Wittmer family.
Timothy courageously battled brain cancer before his passing. This event also aims to raise awareness about brain cancer and the impact it has on individuals and families in our community.
📅 Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026
⏰ Time: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
📍 Location:
* Soy City CrossFit
* 2325 E. Hubbard Ave.
* Decatur, IL
🏋️ Event Details:
* Teams may have up to 4 members.
* Only one person per team needs to sign up to reserve your team’s spot.
* All participants must complete a waiver prior to the start of their heat.
* One person rows at a time.
* One-hour heats.
* Compete for the most meters rowed.
* $200 per team.
* Scan QR code to get your teams heat time locked in.
* Payment due the day of the event.
* Checks payable to Aric Wittmer.
* Payment also accepted via Becky’s Venmo.
🎉 Additional Activities:
* Silent auction throughout the day.
* Food truck on-site.
* Coffee available in the morning.
* Chairs, coolers, pop-up tents, and bag sets welcome.

* 100% of team entry fees and silent auction proceeds will go directly to support the Wittmer family.
Whether you’re rowing, donating, bidding in the silent auction, or simply stopping by to cheer on the teams, your support makes a difference.
