Toowoomba, it’s time to make history!
Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is calling on the entire community to come together this Floral Friday, 18 September, for an ambitious attempt to create the “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as a Toowoomba violet”.
The colourful community challenge will take place at Queens Park from 12pm, with organisers aiming to bring together more than 938 people dressed as Toowoomba violets and hopefully put the Garden City into the record books.
Local media outlets, Triple M Toowoomba and The Toowoomba Chronicle will help rally the region, joining us to spread the word and encourage community involvement. Together, they’ll help us issue one very important challenge to Toowoomba: can we get more than 938 people into Queens Park and make history?
