A CREATIVE FEW HOURS, CRAFTING BEAUTIFUL BOUQUETS.Over the course of your time with us, you’ll be introduced to the essentials of bouquet making, learning the correct techniques and properties, we’ll introduce you to the core tenets of floristry, demonstrating structure, colour, and styling. In our session you’ll create, and wrap, two beautiful bouquets: a wrapped seasonal posy and an aqua-packed gift bouquet, using the very best blooms and foliage the season has to offer.
At the end of the session, your bouquets will be yours to take home (for you to keep, or gift to another!), along with a set of new skills and techniques to carry forward in your floristry journey. As with all of our courses, we’ll be working with the season’s best materials, including British grown flowers and foliages, sourced directly from our local growing partners when the season allows. No floral foam will be used in this course, and single-use plastics (such as anchor or pot tape) will be kept to an absolute minimum.
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about how to design bouquets, and it’s an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself creatively in floristry, while gaining the skills to create two stunning bouquets to take home.
Floral Essentials: Bouquets is a fun, approachable session—there’s nothing intimidating about it - and it’s a chance to try something new, learn a valuable skill, and work with fresh flowers in a relaxed, supportive environment. Many students choose this class as a first step before taking on further floristry courses, such as our Floristry Taster Day, or Two Day Floristry Foundation class.
