🔥Join us for a community grazing and fire talk event in Saskatoon Natural Grasslands🐑
Come and join us for an informative session on targeted grazing and prescribed fire in Saskatoon Natural Grasslands. This 1.5 hour program will include a talk from local experts about fire and grazing that is happening in Saskatoon Natural Grasslands. You'll learn about the benefits of conservation grazing for plant diversity, wildlife habitat, and soil health. We will also learn about prescribed fire in the site and its many benefits.
Please note due to location size that while the sheep will be present, this will NOT be a grazing demonstration, this is just a chance to have a chat about conservation work with sheep and fire in the area.
This is a free event but unfortunately no walk-ups will be permitted due to the limited site size. This limit is set to reduce the number of people in the site, parking, and stress on the animals. Registration is required to attend. No food or beverage will be served at this event.
