Join us for First Fridays! Enjoy artwork by Katelyn Wood as well as refreshments. Katelyn Wood is a local printmaker from Broadway, VA who works as an adjunct professor at James Madison University. She graduated from James Madison University in 2012 with a B.F.A in Studio Art and received an M.F.A. in Studio Art from American University in 2016. She is currently teaching a biological illustration course at JMU and has taught numerous other art classes including 2D design, 3D design, drawing, and printmaking. She is currently focusing on publishing her hand-printed book Don’t Bust the Crust, an accordion style book that talks about the importance of biological soil crust in the high desert ecosystem.
