Every semester, Westobou supports an Augusta University student through an internship resulting in a MICRO gallery exhibition. Check out a new body of work by AU senior Sam Peacock opening October 3.
“Bloomed” is an exploration of the intersections between shame, beauty, and health, expressing the hidden emotional repercussions that come with striving for perfection. The show features mixed media artworks exploring the body in anatomical and visceral imagery that invites viewers to challenge their perceptions of beauty and the body.
