First Aid for Babies and Young Children

* Please note the November and December dates are at the GWP NORTHERN community centre, not the southern centre where DBM is held *

A 2 hour course for parents and carers of babies and young children, delivered by Paul from Foremost First Aid Training.

The course will use a variety of presentation, demonstration and hands on practical work to equip you to deal with a range of emergency situations.

Non-walking babies welcome. Feeding, changing etc during the session is not a problem at all.

We suggest a £10 contribution for this course to help ensure that we can keep offering it at a low cost for all. We can subsidise the cost of a small number of places, so if this would prevent you from attending please pay whatever you feel able to - no questions, no judgement, we know maternity leave funds can be tight.

A polite word though .... please bear in mind that we are a small, community led group with limited funding. We have a "support for all" ethos and our volunteer team work hard to fundraise as much as possible from grants to keep support free to access for local families who need it. This is an ongoing challenge and we are trusting our lovely community to work with us on this too. If you can pay the £10 towards this course, please support your fellow mums/dads and do so, or it will become unsustainable for us to continue to run it at all - thank you!
