Join us this July as we celebrate Matariki in the heart of Tamatea Dusky Sound. Raw, remote and especially magical in winter. Think snow-dusted peaks, misty mornings, glassy anchorages and some of the clearest star-filled skies you’ll ever see from the top-deck hot tub.
Helicopter in to meet M.V. Flightless and spend your days cruising the fiords, fishing, hunting, kayaking, paddleboarding, diving, exploring ashore, or simply slowing down and soaking up the stillness of winter in Fiordland.
We host up to 12 guests, with everything included (excluding alcohol): fully catered meals, bedding and towels, fishing gear, dive cylinders and weights, kayaks, paddleboards, freediving equipment, and your scenic helicopter transfers.
Flightless is warm, spacious and purpose-built for these southern conditions, fully insulated, diesel-heated, air-conditioned, with a watermaker, wheelhouse saloon, covered heated aft deck and onboard laundry. Three experienced, passionate crew will take care of you throughout.
Just get yourself to Te Anau with a small bag, a sense of adventure, and any special treats you’d like onboard, we’ll handle the rest.
