Experience their smooth and rich sounds as they perform a beautiful new mix of pop and jazz classics, this time in the gorgeous and intimate performance space at Mirrorball Ministries - The True Love Club, in West End.
The repertoire for the event will feature fabulous songs performed by James Taylor. It will also include iconic hits by Carole King, Stevie Wonder and Cyndi Lauper, and Kylie Minogue’s cheeky Padam Padam.
James Taylor, an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, is a six-time Grammy Award winner. Taylor achieved his breakthrough in 1970 with the single Fire and Rain, and had his first No. 1 hit in 1971 with his recording of You've Got a Friend, written by Carole King. Eleven million copies of his 1976 Greatest Hits album have been sold in the US alone, making it one of the best-selling albums in US history. Taylor has retained a large audience over the decades.
Fiona Parke, a captivating and dynamic jazz, pop and soul singer, has an extensive history of dazzling audiences with big bands and in the intimacy of smaller ensembles. With her smooth, soulful vocals and musicality, she will transform these timeless songs into fresh, vibrant interpretations that resonate deeply. She will be joined by the exceptional Cool Cats, esteemed musicians:
