Finding Your Way as a Sensitive Person

If you often find yourself overwhelmed by sensory stimuli, caught in people-pleasing and overthinking, experiencing deeper and more intense reactions to the arts and social causes than the average person, and needing a long time to make decisions, you might be a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)!

HSPs have what's called Sensory Processing Sensitivity, which is not a disorder but a type of nervous system that is more finely tuned to emotional, sensory, and other data. Join this introductory class taught by HSP Karen Chambless, a local mental health counselor, to learn more about your sensitivity and how to cope with a world that is not built for us.

She specializes in helping neurodivergent folks of all kinds to heal and thrive, with advanced training in treating religious and complex trauma.
