State of Tennessee EMS Ventilator Certification Course

16 Hour State of Tennessee Ventilator Course

This class will cover all aspects of ventilator management in pre-hospital transports. This class is a 16 hour course and you must attend the entire course for successful completion. There is also a clinical component that is REQUIRED. This will be a mininum of 12 hours with at least 4 patient contacts.

To be eligible to take this course, you MUST be a current licensed paramedic in the State of Tennessee with a least two (2) years of full-time experinece as a paramedic.

Class Location: LIFE FORCE Air Medical, Erlanger, 975 E. 3rd Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403 - LIFE FORCE Classroom

Dates / Times: April 1-2, 2026 9 am till 5 pm

Clinical: Will be scheduled and discussed at the class.

Cost: $150

Individuals who show competency and successful completion of a TN EMS Interfacility Transport with Mechanical Ventilator Training program which includes both supervised laboratory and clinical experience following the module guidelines may participate in ventilator transports.
