The Field to Fork Series is coming back for its second event—and this one is all about bringing our community together around the table!
Powhatan County Economic Development is excited to collaborate with the Virginia Cooperative Extension - Powhatan and Powhatan County Public Schools for a special Field to Fork lunch at Shalom Farms on November 7th, 2026.
👨🍳 Chef: Jason Peyton, Powhatan High School
👩🍳 Featuring: His talented culinary students
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch while celebrating local agriculture, education, and the connections that bring food from the field to our forks.
🍴 The event will kick off with a tour at 11:00 AM, lunch around noon, then a second tour following lunch. You will choose which tour you'd like to join when you purchase your tickets.
