Birdhouse is a food-focused Richmond ecosystem that boosts community health by connecting local farmers with residents and vulnerable families.
Farmers Market: A year-round, all-weather market—operating both mid-week outdoors and online—offering local produce, meats, and goods while accepting SNAP.
Community Garden: A welcoming green space providing hands-on education in sustainable gardening, composting, native plants, and nutrition.
Food Access: Grant-funded partnerships that allow local pantries to buy fresh food directly from farmers for families in need.
