Fiber Arts Workshop with Artist Naomi Lawrence

Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 from 10 am to 1 pm - Doors will open at 9:30 am

As part of our current exhibition , we warmly invite you to join us on Tuesday, May 5th for our first fiber arts workshop, led by artist Naomi Lawrence.

Join us at the W83 Ministry Center at 10:00 AM for a fun and relaxed creative time. Whether you're a beginner or just looking to get creative, this hands-on session is perfect for anyone who loves working with fibers. Come ready to learn, create, and connect with neighbors and fellow art lovers!

During this hands-on session, Naomi will guide us in creating 4 x 4 inch crochet or knitted squares, which will be used to adorn and bring new life to our gallery planters.

The workshop will include materials, with small kits of yarn in Redeemer West Side (RWS) branding colors for you to create your own 4 × 4 inch square pieces. A suggested donation of $5 is appreciated.

If you’re unable to attend the workshop, we still welcome your participation!

Members of the RWS community are invited to contribute by creating and dropping off at the front desk their own square pieces. AS A GUIDE SEE THE SAMPLE IMAGES BELOW:
