This hands-on fermentation workshop with Laure Boutrais is an opportunity to improve gut health and digestion, and reconnect with simple seasonal foods.During the evening you’ll taste a range of fermented foods and drinks, learn the foundations of lacto-fermentation, make your own sauerkraut to take home, and watch a live water kefir demonstration. Laure will also share practical seasonal tips for supporting digestion and overall wellbeing throughout the year.
A complimentary glass of kefir, kraut and pickle tastings, and recipes are included. Please bring a 500ml jar and a notebook if possible. The workshop is fully plant-based.
Laure is a naturopathic nutritionist, fermentation artisan, and founder of Absorb in Cardiff; blending science, traditional food practices, and lived experience to help people build a healthier relationship with food and gut health.
