Family Tours

Explore Prehistory, the Romans, the Anglo Saxons and the Vikings with archaeologist, Marc Cox, on an interactive family tour of Avalon Archaeology!
Learn the formations used by the Roman army, make Iron Age pots round the fire in our roundhouse, make a Saxon penny and carve a Viking rune!
There will be opportunities for dressing up as an ancient as well.
Tickets are £9.25 for adults and children each, under 5’s free.
Each child (over 5) in your party will need their own ticket.
The tour price includes free re-entry to the site during normal opening hours for the remainder of the calendar year.
