Family Q & A Session

The SEND Occupational Therapy Team provide input to support children, young people, families and mainstream education settings in Birmingham.

This webinar is designed for families to ask questions to the SEND Occupational Therapy team. Occupational Therapists (OT’s) support children and young people to carry out activities they need or want to do.

OTs can provide support around self-care skills such as eating, dressing and toileting, as well as play/leisure activities and productive tasks, such as handwriting, using scissors or organisation.

When you sign up, you will be asked to submit a question and the OTs will address this question within the webinar, so please do attend.

Previous questions have included:

• Why will my child only eat certain foods?
• How do I support my child to be able to get dressed?
• How can I support my child to toilet independently?
• What are sensory processing difficulties?
