Family Life Makaton Taster

An Introduction to Makaton, ideal for families wishing to learn basic day to day signs and symbols relevant to familiy life. Learn 34 core concepts essential to makaton users and additional high frencency vocabulary, in addition to some games and activites you can use at home.

If you live with or love a young person or adult who may have communication difficulties or are non verbal this introductory workshop is ideal for you.

The workshop is fully funded by Loud Arts CIC. Ensure that you can include those who need augmentative or alternative communication methods. Suitable for all age 16+ or 14+ if accompied by an adult who is also booked onto the workshop.
