New Moon Sound Bath

This Lunar Sound Bath utilises the power of the New Moon in order to bring about transformations in our life. Right up to the present day, the moon has both fascinated and intrigued humans, as well as being associated and intertwined with psychology, symbolism, science, and even spiritual sources from time immemorial. The human body is around 70% water, making it a perfect medium for sound waves and vibration to go through. The Moon also has a direct effect on the Earths oceans which cover around 70% of our planet.

The pull of the Moons gravity on the Earth is strong enough to create tides and move oceans. It is believed that the position, distance, and gravity of the Moon also has a direct affect on life forms including us, depending on its position and phase. Understanding these lunar phases and the energies associated with each of them can help us to maximise our own mental and emotional energy, as well as harnessing these diferrent energies to our advantage. The ancient Chinese as well as other cultures taught us that energy follows thought, and like attracts like. Here we are sending out our intentions into the Universe, using the attracting energy of the Moon to help us with any transformation you want to make to your life.

It takes the Moon approximately 31 days to go around the Earth, and in that time it will go through 8 different phases as well as all of the twelve zodiac signs bringing their individual qualities, and elements into play also.

You are invited onto a very special and magical New Moon Sound Bath. It's a journey, that will invoke your inner senses while calming,soothing and balancing your mind and body. Your destination is a place where wellbeing, relaxation and healing abide, a place where altered states of consciousness, plus high vibrational healing energy await you. It has all the benefits associated with meditation, but with minimal effort on your part. In fact the only effort is using Qigongs Healing Smile on our Lungs and hear Chakra, and using a diferrent method of breathing, where for the first five minutes a double breath in and a long deep breath out is used, Then its normal breathing and just going with the flow, you can even allow yourself to fall asleep, and unlike meditation you will still receive the benefits.

Preparation

These personal sessions at my Gong Studio are for between 1 and 3 guests

Please try to avoid any large meals, and drinking any alcohol prior to arriving. It is quite normal for your body temperature to drop during a Sound Bath, or any energy work, and loose fitting clothes are recommended. This session combines High Vibration Crystal,Reiki,Sound and Chi Kung energy, as well as Lunar Energy. Three ticket types are available, my Chaise Longue Sofa, Reclined Chair and a Yoga mat, all at the same price.

There will be at least half an hour at the end to share your experiences and ask questions.should you wish to do so, or just soak up the high vibrational energies, over a filtered or bottled water with Michael.

Car parking is available for up to 3 cars, one on our drive and two at the front of our house.

What To Expect

If you have not experienced a Gong Bath before don’t worry there is no clothes to remove, or ‘getting wet’. The term ‘bath’ relates to you being ‘bathed’ in sound waves, and is a very unique experience where it can feel different each time, and also different for everyone present. Although this session is a New Moon event you wont be required to sit outside in our garden, as pleasant and tranquil as it is. Instead the session will take place in Michael's Gong Studio, or weather permitting in our glass roofed conservatory, where the lunar energies will easily reach and benefit us all.

The Sequence of Events;

• Arrive at 7 pm.
• Introduction from Michael
• Prepare and release your Intent into the Universe. Your Intent, is linked to your goal. Michael will assist you with formulating your Intent.
• Settled on your couch, or chair or on your yoga mat, wrapped up in a blanket cosy and warm.
• Moon Crystals to hold and some placed around your body.
• The session begins with the Closing of the eyes, then;
• Abdominal Belly breathing is started to begin slowing your brainwaves ahead of the gong, while Micheal plays the Himalayan Singing Bowls
• Guided meditation with Qigongs Inner Smile, for the heart chakra
• Guided meditation on Grounding into the Earth, then into the universe.Holding on to your Intent as you continue with belly breathing
• Releasing your Intent into the Universe to manifest

• Three Gongs are used for this session of approximately 45 minutes
• As the sounds from the Gong eventually diminish and drift away, you will become exposed to the pure and profound silence. This is not an empty silence however, the now quiet gong has left an intense healing power in its wake, in what we call the "Gong Space". The combination of high vibrational energies of light, and sound, will hold you in a period of calm, peaceful tranquillity for several minutes, as your senses gradually, bring you back to earth again. Many find this silence the most powerful part of the Gong Bath.
• You have now been Gonged. Handouts and leaflets given out. Michael will answer any questions you have, and encourage you to share your experiences, should you wish to.
• Lunar schedule to help you work with the Moons phases to help you achieve your goals
• 8.30 - 9 pm, time to say farewell before heading off home.

Although the session eventually comes to an end, as the Gongs fall silent, the benefits certainly dont. After you return home Michael will send everyone a Distance Healing Crystal, Reiki session each evening starting the following evening (between 8 & 9 pm) for 7 days after. Please try to drink more fluids during this week to help flush out the toxins that will be released by your body as a result of the intensity of the combined four therapies.

Michael will have handouts to take away on the cycles of the Moon and what you can do on each to maximise your manifestations.He will also encourage you to continue using the powerful practises of abdominal belly breathing and Qigongs Healing / Inner Smile on a regular basis to help you maintain and improve further your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health and wellbeing, as well as helping you connect to the Universe at home.

Moon Crystals For This Session

As a qualified Crystal healer Michael has carefully selected several crystals, specifically for this New Moon Sound Bath. The crystals Michael has prepared are aligned with the moon and will work seamlessly with the lunar energies. These include, Selenite, see picture above,, Moonstone, Opal, Clear Quartz and Hematite. These are for you to hold in your hand, and position on and around your body to maximise the lunar, and crystal energy further.

Selenite often referred to as liquid light describes these beautiful crystals perfectly which have appear to radiate a moon beam glow, which embodies the Goddess energy, and helps remove negative energy and help us communicate with our higher selves, and guides. The Eight Moon Phases You Can Work With

1/ New Moon. The timing of this special Sound Bath begins with the The New Moon itself. It is a remarkably powerful window to begin anything new. Think of it as a blank canvas for you to begin a new project, relationship, career change, improved health, in fact anything that you have dreamed of, or want to aspire to. For hundreds of years humans, have worked with these attracting Lunar energies. The ancient Chinese taught us that 'like attracts like'. Our thoughts become energy which can be sent out into the universe to attract whatever we want to attract into our lives.

This magical time of the New Moon is where we need to put down on paper our grand plan. What it is we seek, how we are going to set about it, together with any help from others, that we may need. Then the really powerful stuff begins, we then set out our Intention on paper, visualise it, before sending it off into the vast sea of consciousness, which is the Universe, and that includes the Moon. Our intent will set into motion the universal laws of attracting energies, where like attracts like. "I'll believe it when l see it", is a phrase often used by sceptics, but for those who successfully use the lunar and universal energies regularly it is a case of "Ill see it when l believe it". Seeing it, for them is seeing their goal come to life, their project They trust in the universe, and have faith in the laws of attraction.

2/ Waxing Crescent Moon. The previous phase was all about setting out on paper what it is we desire, and sending that Intention out into the universe. Although the universe is capable of doing it all by itself the lunar energies will greatly enhance these abilities even further. This phase is about getting it started, getting things moving, initiating help from others, and together with specific energies of the waxing crescent moon to propel our faith and confidence in our selves and our abilities.

3/ First Quarter Moon. As with any new project, challenges can be thrown up, to test our resolve and commitment. While the lunar energies and universe are still working to deliver our desires. The few days of this phase gives us a chance to consider our options, commitment and confidence in the project without being negative.

4/ Gibbous Moon. Any adjustments or fine tuning needs to be carried out now. The lunar energies are favourable to help us make any changes to our plans, to get us back on track. Where things are running well a little honing wont go amiss.

5/ Full Moon. Success is the key word here for projects under way. And while it may not be the full package we can expect to see some successes. Rest assured there is more to come. This is also a "pay back time" where we need to acknowledge the work that the universe, and the Moon in particular is doing on our behalf, and we need to give thanks and show gratitude, using prayers, meditation or just talking and thanking the moon. It is also a time for forgiveness, both to our selves and others. It is all to easy to get caught up with the enthusiasm, and push ourselves to the limit as well as demanding the max from others. Being kind to ourselves,and others is key here. Forgiving ourselves for things we have or have not done is essential now and the Moons energies will assist greatly here.

6/ Disseminating Moon. The lunar energies will now assist with faith, to help keep us on track, certain in the knowledge that the lunar energies as well as the universe is still busy with our requests.

7/ Third Quarter Moon. Balance in all things, and trust. Stay positive now, trust in the process and allow yourself to relax in the knowledge that those greater universal forces we have initiated are still at work on our behalf.

8/ Balsamic Moon. The Moons final phase before the next New moon begins.Relax in a chair or in your bed and allow the healing lunar energies of this phase to wash over and through your mind and body as you relax or meditate. Soothing and calming, and re-energising. Surrender yourself to the moon and give thanks.

Is It Safe For Me?

Taking part in a combined Sound, Crystal,Reiki and Chi Kung healing session is considered safe for most people, regardless of age or fitness level, and my sessions are open to anyone from 18 years of age. Teenagers of 16 to 17 may attend with a parent.

Purely as a precautionary measure it is not recommended if you are pregnant, or have a pacemaker, epilepsy, seizures. Or if you have schizophrenia or Bipolar. If you are in any doubt about any of your medical conditions please speak with your GP first. Also please avoid any heavy meals or alcohol prior to, and after your Gong bath Thank you.

Some people can be affected by the New Moon in a negative way,depression, adverse mood swings and even negative hallucinations for some, in which case the amplifying of the combined energies including the lunar energies should be avoided, and it is recommended that you do not attend this type of session.

Experiencing Energies

During a Crystal Reiki Gong Bath it is very possible you will feel the connection with the universe, and even the creator of all things. This can be a very memorable and emotional experience for many, but in a truly good and positive way. While you are in the protection and safety of the Gong Space, many people will experience positive feelings of peace, bliss,contentment, happiness, joy, compassion and love throughout the session as your body begins resonating at a higher frequency from the combination of Crystals, Reiki and Sound Vibrations.

It is possible for some people to experience very brief moments of anxiety, grief or sadness while harmful negative energies begin to collapse, and fall away and this is perfectly normal and beneficial to maintain our mental health.

Should this happen you can restart your deep belly breaths and or the Healing smile at any point which will help to re-ground you, and minimise any anxieties or other negative feelings. Micheal incorporates periods of silence or "Sandhya" between the sounds, in order to help your mind process and release any negative experiences,and feelings. The 7 Crystal Reiki healing sessions you will receive afterwards, will also help greatly to completely re balance you and your energy.

The Gongs

The late theoretical physicist "David Bohm" discovered that when a Gong is played, the metal becomes “excited”, and the electrons become highly charged electromagnetically, forming a huge plasma field to be created off the Gong and both the player and listener becomes part of that field. When the vibrational activity of the Gong ends, the electrons ‘go back’ to their original atoms, and once the Gong comes to rest the energy field collapses. When the Gong is revved up again the Plasma field expands and intensifies. Thus from a scientific point the participants of the event are being electromagnetically charged in a positive, benevolent and holistic fashion.
