Join Micheal Fothergill, a Gong and Reiki Master, at his Gong Studio near Blyth. Experience a high-energy, deeply immersive Gong Bath—a psycho-acoustic journey blended with the powerful, high-vibrational energies of Sound, Crystal Healing, and Reiki, all channeled with Spiritual Intent.

This is not a "wet" bath—you are simply "bathed" in powerful sound waves. Lying down, ideally with your head facing the Gong, you’ll embark on a structured journey designed for profound healing and deep rest.

1. Setting the Stage: Michael begins by setting a brief intention. You will be guided through a specific, rhythmic deep breathing technique, which calms the nervous system and lowers stress by stimulating the Vagus nerve.
2. Ascending to Healing: As your brainwaves slow from the conscious Beta state to the relaxed Alpha state, you will receive Reiki-charged crystals. The session includes a short Qigong Inner Smile meditation, directing healing energy to your chakras.
3. The Core Experience: As the Gongs begin, your mind drifts deeper into the Theta and Delta states—the realm of true cellular healing. Your body, which is nearly 70% water, becomes an excellent conductor, aligning its vibration to the Gongs’ higher frequencies (entrainment). This process encourages the release of trapped, stagnant energy, initiating your body’s natural self-healing mechanisms.
4. A Plasma Field of Positive Energy: When Gongs are played, a huge, benevolent plasma field is created by highly charged electrons, making both the player and listeners part of an electromagnetically charged environment. Many experience a deep calmness, a soothing of the nervous system, and a profound connection to the Unconditional Love and Peace of the Universe.
5. Coming Back. Eventually the session comes to an end, as the sound from the Gongs become softer and softer before falling silent. But this is not an empty Silance, its a Sacred Silance where the receeding energies will remain for several minutes. Many find this the most calming.
6. Soaking Up The Vibes. Micheal will allow you several minutes to soak up the receiding energies from the Gongs as you gently return to Earth.
7. Your Body is Waiting. As you slowly come back down to Earth, your body will be waiting for you, but it will feel different. Less Stressed, More Calm, Balanced, Uplifted and Energised. Most people say they feel lighter, and happier, having Sensed and Felt the Warmth and Unconditional Absolute Love of the Universe.

Michael has hosted regular monthly Gong Baths here since July 2021. His Dedicated Gong Studio at Chase Farm, near Blyth offers a grounded, calming spiritual feel and is located close to the new Bebside Railway Station. The full postal address will be on your ticket.

• Time: Doors open from 6.pm for a 7pm start. Micheal's Studio is on the ground floor.
• Parking: You can park on the drive or in front of the house.

• Comfort: Warm, loose-fitting clothes are recommended as your body temperature may drop.
• What to Bring: There is nothing to bring as everything is provided. There is a choice of three different tickets. Chaise Longue Sofa, Reclined Chair and a Yoga Mat. Guests can swap the Reclined chair for a second Yoga Mat. Please email Micheal to confirm.

Diet: Please avoid large meals and alcohol beforehand.

Our combined Sound, Crystal, Reiki, and Chi Kung healing session is safe for most people 18 and over (16-17 with a parent).

While most feel peace, bliss, and love, it is normal and beneficial to briefly experience moments of anxiety, grief, or sadness as harmful negative energies are released. Should this happen, simply return to your deep breathing and the Inner Smile meditation to re-ground yourself. The session includes 7 complimentary Distant Reiki Healing sessions (Monday to Sunday) to help maintain your high vibration.

The Gongs have a huge potential for healing and rejuvenation, and are played with a variety of mallets, and styles of play to overly avoid a monotonous rhythm. Each Gong is capable of producing not only beautiful tones, but complex rich overtones. These haunting magical sounds from the gong can quickly entrain our brainwaves to slow down from the normal waking "Beta state" into the lower "Alpha" and "Theta" states and for many the journey will take them even deeper into the "Delta". state. These altered states of consciousness are well researched and as the brain slows down the brain releases a myriad of happy positive hormones which has been shown to reduce tension and stress, improve blood pressure, elevate our moods, calming our minds, whilst promoting healing and wellbeing, they can also reduce pain.
