Family Friendly Double Feature
Food for purchase!
About this Event
In honor of our nation’s 250th birthday, we are rolling out a fun, patriotic theme for our community. If you can “Wait for It,” on July 10th starting at 5 pm, a night of FREE family-friendly activities will take place on the Deere-Wiman lawn with a double-feature outdoor movie night. Crafts, games, and giveaways will take place in the Carriage House. Fifty families will receive a “very special book” worthy to be a birthday gift for Aunt Lucy! Taste- testing of orange marmalade sandwiches is optional. Come with a picnic dinner or purchase a meal on the property. Additional books will be given away throughout the evening as a gift to the community from the William Butterworth Foundation. The antics of a beloved bear start at 5:30 pm on the large LED screen. Then at 8pm, suit-up in Revolutionary-era costume, and become a cast member of the night’s playbill by singing along with others, awards for the best costume of the night!
