Faculty of Education Senior researcher consortium and bigger bid planning (e.g., CRC, Horizon, new ARC incarnation of CoEs)
6th August, 1-4 pm. Venue: Meeting room level 7 (Room 713-714), 100 Leicester street Building.
New opportunities are emerging for larger research teams, interdisciplinary approaches and mega-bids (e.g., Australian Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs), EU Horizon Europe, or ARC new scheme). These opportunities require a different approach with a 10 year+ core strategic vision addressing a global problem and a diverse team showing depth and research talent pipeline planning. These require a structured, multi-year and multi-stage approach. It is necessary for senior researchers to pivot from individual and small team research excellence to large-scale, institutional, and impact-driven consortium management to successfully scale funding efforts. This workshop is designed to orient the strengths of the Faculty to this environment.
