Join us for a day of wonderful events at the University of Stirling!
First up is an in-conversation with legedary photographer and film maker, Fabrizio Gianni and his good friend, John Carberry, lecturer in photography at Glasgow City College. Fabrizio is renowned for his generosity, and has shared his skills and experience running masterclasses for John's students over the years.
This event is a fabulous opportunity to view Fabrizio's work and hear from him direclty about his illustruious career.
About Fabrizio
Fabrizio's creative career spans five decades – from its beginnings in the Italian film industry, where he worked on a number of films including as assistant director on Sergio Leone’s classic The Good the Bad and The Ugly , to him moving into photography and becoming a world renowned fashion photographer - working with, amongst others, Vogue, Elle, GQ, and Harper’s Bazaar.
We are thrilled to be exhibiting a selection of work from Fabrizio’s vast archive at Macrobert Arts Centre. On exhibition will be an exciting selection from Fabrizio’s 30 years working for the top fashion magazines. Extraordinary pictures with visual ideas drawn from the history of Cinema and Photography.

Through the course of the day there will be a series of exhibition views, talks and opportunities to meet with Fabrizio Gianni and Ted Leeming, in the morning at Macrobert Arts Centre, and in the afternoon with Jess Holdengarde and Morwenna Kearsley, at the Pathfoot Building with the Art Collection.
