Join contemporary artist Lucie Rose Matthews for a relaxed oil painting workshop in Manchester, where you’ll learn how to create your own expressive portrait or female figure painting.
Using Lucie’s distinctive style as inspiration, you’ll choose from a selection of beautiful reference images and be guided through her step-by-step painting technique. You’ll learn how to set up your palette, mix colours, layer oil paint, and use expressive brushstrokes to create mood, movement, and character.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and developing artists, with all materials provided and plenty of gentle guidance throughout.
