You're Invited to a FREE Concert!Get ready for a high-energy afternoon of swing, jazz, and rock with The Explosion Big Band — a 17-piece big band led by Doug Haining and Scott Agster!
The Explosion Big Band brings together a repertoire of rock and swing and compositions by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Clare Fischer, Pat Metheny, and others.
About the Band Leaders:
* Doug Haining (sax & clarinet) has been delighting audiences for over 30 years. He performs in pit orchestras in local theaters and leads the beloved Twin Cities Seven swing band.
* Scott Agster (trombone) moved to Minneapolis in 2005 to study at the University of Minnesota and is now an active performer, composer, and trombone instructor with many local jazz groups.
Performance Length: 75 minutes
