Looking for a calm, supportive after-school option for your child this winter?The Mindful Movement Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Club offers students time to slow down after the school day, move their bodies in age-appropriate ways, and practice simple tools for focus, confidence, and emotional regulation.
This class is designed specifically for students at Island Lake Elementary School and supports the social-emotional learning already taking place within Mounds View Public Schools, meeting right after school in a familiar, on-campus setting.
The club emphasizes:
🧘♀️ gentle movement to build confidence and body awareness
🌬 breathing and mindfulness practices kids can use at school and at home
💛 connection, kindness, and a positive group environment
