This six-session semester will cover basic concepts and practices related to the seven chakras. According to Yoga tradition, the chakras (spinning wheels) are located in the subtle/energy body and run from the base of the spine to just above the crown of the head.
Session one begins with learning about the chakra system and includes specific focus on Chakra One, the Root (Muladhara) Chakra. Each chakra will be covered over the six weeks of the semester. Sessions include presentation content, breathwork/pranayama, asana practice, and end with savasana and meditation.
