Exploring the Art of Collage Workshops with Susan Ballantine

Join Susan Ballantine for a day of creativity in this beginner-friendly collage workshop!

Using paint, paper, shape, and colour, you’ll be guided through the process of developing your own unique artwork. Susan will provide demonstrations, examples, and supportive guidance while participants share ideas and explore creative possibilities together.

ALL supplies are included, including:

• Easels
• Paint
• Brushes
• Mediums
• Variety of papers

You’re also welcome to bring any personal papers, photos, or images you’d like to incorporate into your piece.

No experience is necessary, just come ready to experiment and have fun!

Please wear painting clothes and bring a lunch, or feel free to step out to nearby lunch spots during the break!

Time: 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30 minute break for lunch)

About the Instructor:

"It is wonderful to remember I have had the pleasure of learning and gathering knowledge about art for most of my adult life. I started painting on porcelain, then oil on canvas and later added acrylic. Painting provides endless possibilities to explore and paint. I especially love colour and shape expressing the local landscape and florals. Sometimes it is abstracted or expressive. And I cannot leave, still life out as it is such great fun to collect and design a painting.I continue to take workshops and participate in shows in the Calgary area. I am an active volunteer."
