This is the revised route for the Sunday 14th July missing out Morecambe. Still a 100 miler! Basically the route consists of a bit of climbing at the start, which then means for a flatter rest of the ride. Heading to Kirkby Lonsdale, Trough of Bowland, Scorton, Lancaster, Arnside and home. There are plenty of short cuts to reduce the mileage and give flatter route options.
Proposed cafe stops depending on how we are getting on :
* quick brew at Bentham (27 miles)
* Lunch Scorton (55 miles)
* Ice cream Arnside (80 miles)
Then at the end, if the weather is kind a well deserved fizzy drink !
