Evening Gong Bath
Time to pause. Time to breathe. Time to simply be.
Life can be busy. Whether you’ve spent your day at work, caring for family, studying or simply juggling life’s demands, it isn’t always easy to switch off.
An Essential Energies Gong Bath offers a safe, cosy and welcoming space where you can step away from the outside world for ninety minutes and simply rest. There are no expectations, nothing to achieve and no experience needed. Just permission to stop, breathe and simply be.
Many people leave feeling deeply relaxed, calmer, clearer and more connected to themselves than when they arrived. For some, it’s the best night’s sleep they’ve had in a long time.
What is a Gong Bath?
Despite the name, there isn’t any water involved!
A gong bath is an immersive sound relaxation experience. You’ll lie or sit comfortably while you’re surrounded by the soothing sounds and resonant vibrations of symphonic gongs, singing bowls, drums and other carefully chosen instruments.
This isn’t simply listening to relaxing music. As the instruments are played, the layers of sound and vibration are created live, constantly changing and evolving throughout the session. It’s an experience that is felt as well as heard, making every gong bath completely unique.
Rather than listening to a performance, you’re simply invited to relax and allow the sounds to wash over you in whatever way feels right. No two gong baths are ever the same, because no two people are ever the same.
A Small and Welcoming Group
My gong baths are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of seven people, creating a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
You can choose where you feel most comfortable, whether that’s on the massage couch, one of the gravity chairs, the reclining chair, the sofa or on your own yoga mat.
What Should I Bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps you feel warm and cosy. Most people bring a blanket, cushion, warm socks and a bottle of water.
Can a Gong Bath Help Me?
People come to gong baths for many different reasons.
Some simply want time to relax, while others are looking for better sleep, a calmer mind or a chance to step away from the pressures of everyday life.
Many of my regular attendees tell me they find the sessions particularly helpful if they’re living with fibromyalgia or ADHD, navigating grief or anxiety, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands. Others enjoy the opportunity to ease away from everyday aches and pains and leave feeling lighter, calmer and more rested.
Every person’s experience is unique, and that’s exactly as it should be.
Booking
The investment for an evening gong bath is £20 per person.
Booking online is recommended, as places are limited and often fill quickly. You’ll receive confirmation of your booking straight away.
If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer or cash, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to arrange this.
Whether it’s your first gong bath or your fiftieth, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
I’d love to welcome you to Essential Energies
