Evening Bird Walk at Mission Trails Regional Park

Join the park's bird walk leaders on a twilight walk in the park to learn about the nocturnal birds and wildlife of Mission Trails.
About this Event

Join MTRP bird walk leaders for a guided bird walk in the Tierrasanta side of the park. We avoid the summer heat on this evening bird walk along trails in the western portion of the park . We’ll look and listen for owls, nighthawks, poorwills, bats, deer, and other creatures of the night. Meet at Gate 4 at the intersection of Calle de Vida and Colina Dorada Drive in Tierrasanta. Bring binoculars if you have them. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring along water. Don't forget to bring along a flashlight and an extra layer of clothing -- it often cools down after the sun sets. Walk will be canceled if raining.
