Spend a summer evening with us in the stunning setting of this wetland wildlife haven famous for its birdlife. Meeting at the Discovery Centre, we'll explore the atmospheric sights and sounds of the saltmarsh and shingle, as the sun begins to set, stopping at a couple of bird hides on the way. Sighted Guides and Carers are very welcome at our events.
James will help you identify the birds we may see and hear. From the haunting seven-note call of the Whimbrel and and the Avocet's melodious sound, to the cat-like calls of Mediterranean Gulls and the raspy clamour of courting Sandwich Terns.
