🌾 Join us for a relaxed day crafting a hand-built ceramic pot, capturing the delicate detail of flora, with experienced ceramicist, Alison Proctor. ⚱️ Learn the technique of using plants to decorate ceramics with designs cast in clay. Create a tactile piece to treasure with natural botanical textures & patterns, using white earthenware clay.
🌿 In this introduction to the decorative tradition of clay sprig-making, you'll make clay 'sprigs' to decorate your piece cast from wild plants found at the nature reserve. Sprigs are moulded clay designs attached to the surface of a ceramic piece.
No experience is needed for this absorbing workshop.
