We’ll begin in the outdoor courtyard with grounding yoga led by Joshua Redmond (Natrona Yoga & Flobucha), helping you open your body to fresh energy and align with the season’s natural renewal. From there, flow into a heart-opening Ecstatic Dance journey guided by Kelly Atkins (DJ Kat) — founder of Ecstatic Dance Sarasota and an internationally recognized movement facilitator.

As the music builds and bodies move, the courtyard transforms into a living altar of expression — a sacred yet playful space for all ages and abilities to explore freedom, presence, and connection.

After the dance, stay and celebrate the community heartbeat — enjoy local vendors, artisan markets, special equinox menus from , and a vibrant network of artists, makers, and movers coming together to welcome new beginnings.

As the sun crosses the celestial equator, day and night find perfect balance — and so do we. This Equinox, invites movers, artists, families, and free spirits to gather for a day of movement, mindfulness, and community celebration at The Bazaar on Apricot and Lime on Friday, March 20th.

Since 2013, has been a heartbeat of the conscious community on Florida’s west coast — a space where people of all ages and abilities gather to move freely, express authentically, and connect deeply. Led by Kelly Atkins, a movement artist and facilitator with over two decades of experience, these dances are less about choreography and more about discovery — listening to your body, releasing tension, and remembering joy.

The Equinox Sarasota Ecstatic Dance honors that spirit of balance. The day begins with morning yoga guided by Joshua Redmond of Natrona Yoga, easing participants into mindful motion. From there, Kelly leads an ecstatic journey through sound and rhythm — a dance that welcomes everybody, from children to elders, to find their flow.

When the music fades, the celebration continues: artisan vendors, local makers, Hamlet’s Eatery’s special Equinox menu, and refreshing drinks from Flobucha and Sarasota Sips invite everyone to linger, connect, and soak in Sarasota’s creative community.
