Each month spotlights a fresh dance, taught step-by-step so anyone can jump in — no partner or experience required. Grab a friend, bring the kids, or come solo and connect with others as the Donald gets everyone moving.

About Donald Frison

Donald Frison, a native of Memphis, TN, is a singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer. Donald has entertained audiences throughout the US from his seven-week run to the finals of the TV show, “Star Search,” to a featured role with Dick Clark for the National Tour Association. Donald has choreographed and performed in numerous Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe shows.

Know Before You Go:

Free parking is located around the site and all parking lots remain open — along Blvd of the Arts and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.

Construction of the new Town Square (located between the Municipal Auditorium and Art Center) is underway and affects pedestrian routes between the parking lot along N. Tamiami Trail and venues west of Van Wezel Way (incl. The Bay park, Van Wezel, and Holley Hall). Signs are posted to direct you between these locations. All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.

Location changes or event cancellations will be posted on The Bay Website, Facebook, and Eventbrite up to one hour before start time, as the weather changes quickly.
