Emerald Elegence: 45 Years of Scholarship, Service, and Sisterhood

Join us as we celebrate the chartering of the Nu Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, established on April 26, 1981 at Oakland University.

For 45 years, Nu Phi has upheld a proud legacy of scholarship, sisterhood, and service. Since our chartering, we have initiated 21 lines of dynamic women who continue to make meaningful contributions on campus, in their professions, and in their communities.

This special celebration will feature remarks from distinguished Nu Phi chapter alumni as we reflect on our history, honor the women who built our foundation, and celebrate the generations who continue to carry the legacy forward.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsoring graduate chapter, Theta Lambda Omega Chapter, for their unwavering guidance, leadership, and continued support of the Nu Phi Chapter.

Attire: Emerald and shades of green gala gowns are reserved for members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. Guests may wear any color; however, black, gold, or white formal attire is suggested.
