Edinburgh Climate Festival 2026 – Festival Decor Volunteers Wanted
About this Event
🍀This summer, the Edinburgh Climate Festival returns to The Meadows on Saturday, 27 June 2026. Free and open to all, the festival brings together live performances, workshops, stalls, and family-friendly activities to celebrate climate action, sustainability, and community connection.
🤝This year’s theme, Intertwined, explores the connections between people, communities, and nature — inspired by the mycelium networks found in the natural world.
🌍 We’re looking for volunteers to help create festival decorations using recycled and reused materials, including signage, photo booth installations, stage décor, and creative site displays.
💚 No artistic experience is needed — just enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for nature and community. Everyone is welcome!
Remarks:
- Sessions will be conducted in English.
- Light refreshments and art supplies will be provided.
- Please get in touch if you have any questions or need support to attend—for example, if you need to arrive late or leave early
- Please do let us know if you have any access or dietary requirements prior to the event
- To help remove financial barriers to attending our event, a limited number of complimentary Lothian bus day tickets for use after the event are available upon request
