ERIC MANDALA: (Altar Records) Ecstatic Dance Music Producer, Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist, Instrument Maker, Visionary, World traveler, Founder of "Mandala World Music" an international ethnic fusion world music group with people from all around the world. Co-Founder of “Spirit Travelers” An Electro/Tribal group. He has traveled around the world collaborating with 100's of artists with the name Mandala. His focus is to bring sacred styles of art and instrument together for a new fusion in this multi-cultural world. To spread the love through music and raise the collective consciousness of awareness & peace. ERIC MANDALA has played on, produced, and recorded over 30 albums & has played Festivals around the world in 6 continents. When performing he uses live looping & plays over 100 ethnic and modern instruments from around the world with his Electronica Production. He sings in Universal Language mixing ancient tongues and ethnic styles of vocals with modern sound scat poetry. He also builds & plays African harps like the Kora & Kamale ngoni.

Who are we?
We are a conscious weekly dance gathering centred around the love of dancing to good music with others. Every week is a real, grounded, joyful, exuberant and liberating gathering of beautiful human beings. You’re all welcome to come dance and express however you wish.
Ecstatic dance is freestyle dance - move however you wish - honour your body - dance with bare feet - no experience necessary - all ages, genders, cultures, sizes are welcome - respect yourself and one another - bring comfortable clothes to move in - bring water to drink - alcohol-free and recreational drug-free - safe and sacred space - let the music take you on a journey - see you on the dance floor

We invite you to ...
We invite you to dance, sweat and connect with yourselves and each other. This is a place where you can feel free to move and express whatever is alive in you and whatever comes up when you shake up your cells. It is also nonverbal, barefoot, alcohol/drug-free to keep the experience intentional. Together we create a safe space for dance and authentic connection that is healing, inspiring and uplifting. Community, music and dance is our medicine.

Our DJs draw inspiration from multiple genres and craft unique musical journeys for your energies to root, renew and flow like a river running clear, strong, wild and free. Don't miss this opportunity to dance! There is freedom in motion.

8:00p | OPENING CIRCLE | Gently Guided Movement Exercise & Meditation
8:15p | 1.5HR ED JOURNEY | Ecstatic Dance DJ of the Week
9:45p | CLOSING CIRCLE with Sounding & Sharing (totally optional)
...until 10:30p | COMMUNITY-INSPIRED SOCIAL TIME, SNACKS, MUSIC MAKING, SINGING, SOUNDING, DANCING

What is the Church like to dance in?
INCREDIBLY SPACIOUS . Our weekly dances are held in a 5000 sq. ft. chruch hall with high ceilings, huge windows, amazing hardwood floor & a crystal clear high fidelity sound system.
