Easter at the Canmore Museum

Celebrate spring with a fun-filled, hands-on afternoon for kids of all ages! Join us for a festive Easter celebration that combines creativity, science, and interactive play. This is the perfect way for families to enjoy the season together while exploring the museum’s gallery and learning through play.

This program invites children to dive into a variety of activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination. Little ones can search high and low in the gallery for hidden treats during our Easter Egg Hunt, get into the spirit with face painting, and decorate their own bunny ears while colouring spring-themed sheets. For a touch of hands-on science, kids will also explore the magic of fizzing Easter Eggs, experimenting with simple reactions in a fun and safe way. Each activity encourages creativity, problem-solving, and exploration, all while celebrating the joys of spring.

All materials for crafts and experiments are provided, so children can jump right in without needing to bring anything extra. Families are welcome to bring their own snacks if they like, and the museum space is wheelchair accessible. This program is family-friendly and designed to engage children of all ages.

Adults and children 13+ who wish to enter the gallery will need to pay standard museum admission. Canmore Museum Family Membership holders receive 50% of ticket price and free admission. Please contact us for the promo code.
