TAKE 3 proudly brings together the 18th Annual East LA Film Festival, 8th Annual Cine Sin Cines Film Festival, and LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes for a one-day celebration of film, culture, and community that launches Hispanic Heritage Month.
This first-of-its-kind collaboration unites two acclaimed film festivals with one of Los Angeles' most important cultural institutions, creating a vibrant showcase of storytelling, artistic excellence, and cultural heritage.

East LA Film Festival - 18th Annual Festival
Founded by Juan Escobedo, the East LA Film Festival has championed independent filmmakers and underrepresented voices for nearly two decades, providing a platform for stories that reflect the richness and diversity of our communities.
Cine Sin Cines - 8th Annual Festival
Founded by acclaimed actress and filmmaker Elpidia Carrillo, Cine Sin Cines celebrates independent cinema and empowers filmmakers through education, mentorship, and global artistic exchange.
LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes
A community hub where people gather to celebrate Latinx culture through transformative exhibitions, music, dance, culinary arts, and multigenerational artmaking and storytelling experiences.
Together, these three organizations launch TAKE 3—a bold new initiative that combines resources, creative talent, and films from around the world. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to elevating diverse voices, fostering artistic excellence, and strengthening community through the power of cinema.
