William Bartram is one of the best-known American naturalists of the 18th century. Join a ranger as we follow his footsteps along the Altamaha environs. Make birding and other observations in a nature journal given to those who participate!This event requires no pre-registration. Visitors should arrive in adequate outdoor gear for an hour-long, leisurely walk that will total no more than a mile. Binoculars are in minimum supply, so please feel free to bring your own.
Cost: standard admission. Historic site annual pass holders gain free entry!
